It can be used. I don’t know whether the leakage you are referring to refers to internal leakage or external leakage. Choosing the correct model and material will prevent internal leakage. In addition, it should be noted that hard-sealed valves are not leakage-free.； If there is external leakage, it is usually between the valve stem and the packing. In order to avoid this situation, you can choose a bellows-type stop valve. This kind of valve is specially designed for light solvents or toxic gas solutions that are easy to leak externally.

We now all use soft-sealing valves, which are easier to use and generally have smaller leaks. So far (after two years of use), there has been no leakage.
