In addition to choosing the appropriate gasification process, properly controlling the oxygen-to-coal ratio and the gas-to-vapor ratio are effective ways to increase the yield of useful components. For these controls, I believe experience is very important, as the requirements vary depending on the quality of the coal. I hope experienced professionals can share their insights on how to achieve effective control!
Control the aerobic coal ratio, furnace temperature, system pressure, etc
The composition at the outlet of the gasifier is primarily determined by the gasification process and the feedstock used for gasification; as long as these two factors remain constant, the gas composition at the outlet of the furnace remains roughly the same. Where the operating procedures permit, it is possible to control parameters such as the oxygen-to-coal ratio and the steam-oxygen ratio; these depend on the specific process and also require a great deal of experience.

1# 13399888: I still believe that, as long as it does not affect the viscosity and stability of the coal slurry, it is possible to increase its concentration in order to raise the amount of useful gas. The reason for this is that the water contained in the coal slurry requires a large amount of heat to evaporate when it enters the furnace; this heat comes from the combustion of coal to produce carbon dioxide, which in turn reduces the amount of useful gas. Some studies show that in coal slurries with 60% water content, only about 50% of that water participates in the reaction, while the remaining water is simply vaporized, consuming the heat generated by coal combustion. The slurry concentration should ideally be close to 80%, but of course, the existing additives and slurry pumps are not capable of meeting this requirement! Personal opinion!

The slurry concentration can only reach around 61%; it’s unlikely to increase any further. Are there any good practices for controlling the oxygen level at the center? It’s fine if the carbon dioxide content can be kept below 17%. There’s also something related to the burner.
