How many electric control valves are generally installed on the boiler feedwater pipeline? On the feedwater pipeline of a 35T circulating fluidized bed boiler in our facility, two electric control valves are installed in series. However, I think it would be better if those two valves were connected in parallel; in a series configuration, if one valve fails, it cannot be repaired, whereas with a parallel connection this is possible.
Our clients use a parallel connection for their boilers, which functions as a bypass; when one set of electric valves fails, the other can serve as a backup. QQ:120519927
The general layout of the main water supply pipeline consists of one electric control valve, with an electric gate valve on each side of it (there are also manual ones for smaller boilers). There is a bypass nearby, with the same layout, only the pipe diameter is one or two sizes smaller. Are you sure both of those in series are control valves?

It is possible to install small shut-off valves at both the front and rear of the three control valves
