I need to select a high-temperature pump now. The temperature of the fluid handled by the pump is 150 degrees Celsius, the minimum outlet pressure is 0.2 Mpa, and the head required is around 20 meters. How should I proceed? Try looking for a shielded pump; there are high-temperature models available.
The temperature isn’t very high; it is the temperature level that primarily determines the type of material to be used, and it has little to do with the pump type. The choice of pump type depends mainly on the properties of the medium and the requirements during transportation (such as the need to prevent leaks in cases of flammable or explosive materials). For such materials, shielded pumps or rotor pumps are commonly used. What is your medium?

It mainly depends on your flow rate to decide whether to use a single-stage cantilever centrifugal pump or a multi-stage feed water pump. For the mechanical seal, PLAN21 or PLAN23 will suffice. There are no special requirements.

7# gegegewu: At this temperature, it’s impossible to reach high temperatures at all. A regular centrifugal pump will do. Magnetic pump works fine as well, though it’s a bit expensive.
I’m not sure about your actual operating conditions – whether there are impurities in the water or not. There are many types of such pumps; considering cost-effectiveness and value for money should be sufficient
