The main pipe has a diameter of DN150, with a water pressure of 0.3 MPa; the valves on the branch pipes are DN65 in size, while the branch pipes themselves have a diameter of DN50. The transmission distance is 400 meters, with bends along the way, and the elevation rise of the end pipes is 5 meters. Is it okay to deliver the water this way? Will the water volume and pressure be lower?
This post was last edited by lianghr on 2010-4-28 at 15:15. The branch pipe has a DN50 diameter; the transfer height is 4 meters. Taking into account the total head loss, the resulting flow rate is 7.2 m³/h. The head of the water outlet at the water point is approximately 2~1.5 m.
How is it calculated? Is there any specific calculation format?
