Let me share the problems Tao Tao encountered while installing simulation software on Windows 7; it might serve as a reference for those who have not done this before. I’ve been working on this recently and found that many functions that worked under XP are no longer available, and ASPEN2006 cannot be installed either.
Actually, Windows 7 has good compatibility. When you encounter compatibility issues on Win7, you can resolve them by right-clicking on the program you want to open → Compatibility Troubleshooter → Try suggested settings → Select a mode that is compatible with this program (for example, open it in XP SP2 mode) → Save
My system is 32-bit Windows 7 Enterprise Edition, and I have successfully installed 7.1; there were no issues during the installation process. However, after installation, when trying to run the flowchart, I encountered a problem of being unable to connect to the modules. After doing some research, I found that this isn’t a problem specific to Windows 7, as similar issues occurred after installing it on XP as well. The problem was resolved by reinstalling the system and then installing 7.1. I’m still a beginner and haven’t encountered any problems yet~

I encountered the same problem too; it’s fixed now~
Although I didn’t use Win 7, I still thank everyone for helping me gain knowledge!
