Of course, there are security risks! Electrostatic precipitators are among the devices that are most sensitive to high oxygen levels. Generally, an alarm is triggered when O2 exceeds 0.5%, and the system shuts down at 0.6%.
Controlling the 0.8 jump-off is no problem. Many plants are designed to shut down when the oxygen content reaches 0.8%.

For safety, the oxygen content should be less than 0.5%. But since it often jumps on its own, we have adjusted it to 0.8% as well
Our unit sets an alarm at 0.4% and triggers shutdown at 0.5%. The oxygen meter is installed at the inlet of the primary electrostatic precipitator.
The normal range for O2 content is ≤0.4%; if it exceeds 0.6%, the output should be reduced, and if it reaches 1.0%, the system must be shut down immediately (power supply to be cut off).
