Feidong has a circular economy park; I haven’t seen its planning documents, so I’m not entirely sure. What is certain is that if such a facility does exist, it must be a large-scale coking plant – otherwise, construction wouldn’t be approved. However, given Hefei’s resource situation, there is no coking coal, so coking is simply not possible there. Therefore, I don’t think Hefei can have large coking companies; throughout Anhui, only Huaibei is capable of having such facilities. If you’re considering coming to Hefei, I suggest considering a career in polymers or fine chemicals instead – that might be a better option

Yes, there is the Hegeang Coking Plant, with a coking capacity of 600,000 tons. I was there a few years ago; I’m not sure if the production capacity has been increased since then. There are large coking plants in Huaibei and Wuhu as well
