How to choose a converter

This post was last edited by Purple Sky on 2010-5-4 15:41. Is it better to use a central cylinder structure for a converter, or a beam and column structure? It is said that both structural technologies are mature, but which one has more advantages?
The first option, the latter has never been heard of!
Our factory uses beams and columns, with cast iron grate plates laid on them. Later, the grate plates will deform due to high temperature. Purchase replacement.
Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. The first type consumes less consumables and is easily deformed due to poor design and layout.
