The diameter is φ426×10; U-tube heat exchangers require 4 tube passes – is this acceptable? If a four-pass design is necessary, should a T-shaped baffle and dual U-tube structure be used?
Who has seen a structure similar to this? Please share your insights
4 passageways can be used, with a slightly smaller diameter; the partition grooves are T-shaped with a 90-degree rotation, and the tube bundle consists of horizontal U-tubes divided into upper and lower sections

Apart from its small diameter, there is nothing special about it. If the tube sheet is relatively long, a flat cover should be used for it rather than an end cap, otherwise it will be difficult to weld the section partition.
A T-shaped plate can meet the requirements; if other types of baffles are used, it may not be possible to ensure that flow is unrestricted
