What is an appropriate density for coke during inventory counting (compacted coke)?
Coke bulk density 520 Kg/m3
The bulk density of coke refers to the mass of a pile of coke per unit volume. Its value ranges from 400 to 520 kg/m3. As the average size of coke particles increases, the bulk density of coke decreases proportionally.
During our coke inventory counting, the density of coke piles is 0.67 t/m3, that of coke dregs is 0.8 t/m3, and that of piled coke powder dregs is 1.1 t/m3.
