When the side stream moves to the discharge port position, two blue arrows can be seen; they connect the flow at the middle part of the tower to ensure that the two blue arrows are connected. These arrows indicate the side stream product. Connect the logistics to the middle part of the tower to ensure that the two blue arrows are connected. How to do that? Where can sid1 values of 10.liquid and 8.3 lb/hr be found, respectively?
After clicking the logistics connection arrow in the lower left corner, multiple blue lines appear in the middle of RADFRAC; connecting two of these lines is sufficient, just as with the lines connecting the top and bottom of the tower, only the plate positions where side streams are extracted need to be defined
2# din*ang: I did the same thing when I was simulating, but in the BLOCK’s STREAMS section only one side stream is shown, whereas in Example 7 there are two streams during simulation. I checked again and found that in the process design the two streams obtained from the side streams merge together; yet I’m not able to represent that in my diagram. So where could there be a problem with what I’ve done?
