The two-stage steam-jet ejector of the turbine is cooled by the condensate from the outlet of the condensate pump; why cannot cooler circulating water or clean deionized water be used? ? The reasons I analyzed are: first, the pressure of the circulating water is too low; second, the condensate is very clean; third, using condensate helps save energy. I’m not sure about that last point though Friends, please help analyze it
Personally, I believe that using condensate is an economical way to save energy, and since the temperature of the condensate is usually around 50°C, it meets the requirements of the process.
I think the temperature of the Coolant Gel is too high, making it unsuitable as cooling water. Our extraction steam condenser is cooled by circulating water.

This is not just a matter of energy consumption. In the initial stage, the two-stage steam ejector coolers have little fouling, so there should be no issue with high exhaust steam temperatures. However, as time goes on, due to the high thermal resistance of the heat exchangers, the heat exchange area may become insufficient, resulting in increased consumption of exhaust steam. The condensing pressure of current turbines is between 12 and 15 kPa.A, and the temperature is below 50 degrees; using this for cooling eliminates the problem of increased fouling heat resistance.
The liquid level condensate is used as boiler feed water and needs to be heated, whereas the exhaust cooler needs to be cooled. This is to enable the recycling of capabilities. There are no other considerations.
