Why are nitrogen pipelines galvanized? There’s no corrosion issue anyway
Galvanizing is generally used for air purification; in this case, it refers to the purified air used in instruments, and such air needs to be extremely clean, free of any impurities, which is why galvanizing is applied
There are no regulations requiring this; it depends on the actual conditions of your factory. I have used 316L, 304, 20#, and galvanized materials
Choose the pipe material based on the requirements of the factory building! It doesn’t make sense to use carbon steel for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, right?

No one says that galvanized pipes must be used; ordinary carbon steel is sufficient. In applications with high requirements, such as for instrument air, stainless steel is used. However, when people are concerned about rusting and want to use stainless steel but can’t afford it, they turn to galvanized pipes instead

Some are due to the owners’ requests, while others are determined by the circumstances; in most cases, carbon steel is sufficient. As for the moderator’s attempt to save costs, I’m not sure how to interpret that

When the medium is relatively clean, carbon steel is not commonly used; stainless steel is preferred, although it is more expensive. Galvanized pipes are of course cheaper than stainless steel
