Has anyone worked as an oil field researcher?

I’m about to go to the oil field for research, but I’m still not sure what tasks need to be done Has anyone done it before? Any suggestions? Thank you
Research is short for investigative research; it involves using various methods of investigation – such as assessing the area, reserves, annual production, daily production of oil fields, as well as the processes, technologies, and additives used in crude oil extraction – to obtain responses from the respondents, followed by statistical analysis and comprehensive evaluation. The purpose of the investigation is to obtain basic information on oil fields and crude oil, as well as information on the extraction process, and then to objectively analyze the collected data in order to prepare for decisions regarding crude oil processing.
