According to the classification method specified in the \"Code for Fixed Pressure Vessels\", the intersection point of the P and V coordinates falls within the third category, above the PV=5X10^5 line; however, the calculated PV value is less than 5X10^5. How should such a case be classified?
Since the PV product is not sufficient, it naturally falls into Category II. The coordinate points are useless.
There is an error in the coordinate values; by calculating the intersection point of the PV=5X10^5 line and the 120 cubic line, the pressure should be 4.167 MPa. Therefore, the design pressure is set at 3.2 MPa. The intersection point of the 120 cubic line lies below the PV=5X10^5 line, which classifies it as category two
In fact, the principle behind classification remains the same as before; it belongs to medium-pressure vessels and should be classified as Category II.
The PV value should be calculated; from gauge chart A-2, it can be seen that Category II should be selected.
The PV product is 3.84e5 MPa·L; classified as a type II medium, it should belong to Category II
If the PV calculation value is less than 5*104, it indicates that the point you selected is incorrect.
The coordinate values have errors; the PV product should be calculated, and it falls under category II
If it falls online, choose the higher one!
