Are steel bars needed when pouring the pump foundation?

Pumps of any size do not require reinforcement bars. Small pumps can be filled with fine concrete, while larger ones can use grouting material. Even for larger units such as large-scale machines, they are secured using nuts at both ends, with sand filled in the interior cavity.
Each issue needs to be analyzed on a case-by-case basis; factors such as geological conditions, the size of the equipment, settlement problems, and vibration issues must all be taken into consideration to determine the appropriate foundation design. For smaller pumps, it may not be necessary to use rebar; for larger units, piling or the use of reinforced concrete foundations along with embedded bolts is required
We acquired the land in muddy ground; it was originally farmland on a riverbank. I remember that the bedrock was reached at a depth of 17 meters. The foundation was filled with rubble to a depth of about 1.5 meters, after which aggregate stones were used, and finally a rebar mesh was added followed by concrete pouring.
