Approval on the Establishment of the National Coal Chemicals Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC469) Shanxi Provincial Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau: We have received your request regarding the establishment of the National Coal Chemicals Standardization Technical Committee (Document No. Jin Zhi Jian Ju Fa 133). After consideration, it is agreed to establish the National Technical Committee 469 on Coal Chemical Industry of the Standardization Administration of China, with the code SAC/TC469. The First National Coal Chemicals Standardization Technical Committee is composed of 45 members (the list is attached). Xie Kechang serves as the chairperson, while Zhi Jianning, Xu Zhengang, Gu Gongwei, Li Fengyun, and Sun Maohua serve as vice chairpersons. Li Jinkai acts as a member and secretary-general, while Jiang Ying, Wang Shaonan, Sun Wei, and Lü Yongkang serve as members and deputy secretaries-general. The entities responsible for handling the secretariat duties are the **Coal and Coal Chemicals Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the Beijing Coal Chemicals Research Institute under the China Coal Research Institute, and the Southwest Chemical Engineering Research and Design Institute. The National Coal Chemicals Standardization Technical Committee is primarily responsible for the formulation and revision of standards in areas such as raw materials and processes used in coal chemicals conversion technologies, chemicals derived from coal, coking and coal coking products, as well as testing methods for coal chemicals products (excluding the field of alcohol-ether fuels). The National Coal Chemicals Standardization Technical Committee is directly under the leadership of the **Standardization Management Committee, with your bureau, together with the China Coal Industry Association and the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, being responsible for its daily management. It is just a **functional department; it is the various research institutions that establish the standards. These standards are developed based on market conditions, then compiled into books for future use, and they are revised from time to time. As long as it can catch mice, whether it’s a black cat or a white cat, it’s still a good cat!

Our boss is also a committee member; he’s not some kind of *official, just an ordinary research worker
