For the material of the thermocouple sheath in the boiling furnace (used for burning sulfur-rich sand) in sulfuric acid plants, 3030 was previously used; however, bending occurred after some time of use due to its insufficient refractory temperature. Later, 3039 was adopted, which lasted longer but suffered severe wear. Later, a high-chromium alloy was used instead, but it was a bit expensive. I wonder if any of you students have better materials!
No one knows of any better material that could be used here, right?
