The pump is designed to draw water from the 5m tank; the outlet of the 3m tank is connected to the pump. The pump inlet pipe is connected to the bottom of the 5M tank, while the pump outlet pipe is connected to the lower part of the 3M tank. Therefore, when the liquid level in the 5M tank rises above that of the 3M tank and the pump’s inlet and outlet valves are not closed, it is possible for liquid to flow into the 3M tank

I don’t know what your purpose is. If the process requires a 3m tank that you can’t obtain on your own, then you’ll need to install a check valve, right? If not required, it can be pressed into a groove 3m deep based on the height difference alone!
The goal is to mix the oil from the 3-meter tank with that from the 5-meter tank, but it’s not a 1:1 mixture – there is less oil in the 3-meter tank and more in the 5-meter tank; therefore, in practice it proves difficult to control the amount of oil added from the 3-meter tank.
