Issues regarding the design of foundation pit excavation drawings

I have just taken on a small chemical engineering project, and the client requested that the design firm provide drawings for pit excavation. However, one of our experienced civil engineering designers suggested that the drawings for pit excavation should be prepared by the construction party as part of their construction plan. I would like to ask everyone: who is actually responsible for providing the foundation pit excavation drawings??
Provided by the construction contractor in the construction plan.
