On the issue of short-term failure of filter cloths in drum vacuum filters

In my workshop, over the past three years or so, the filter cloths of the drum vacuum filters used for separating lubricant oils and waxes have failed after a short period of time. Each time, the failure starts at the end of the filter that is closest to the distribution disk. I was wondering if other manufacturers have encountered similar problems.
May I ask which company manufactured the vacuum drum filter at your factory?

What is the specific problem? How does it become invalid?
