Our company is currently building a new tank farm with a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters. The largest storage tanks have a diameter of 12 meters, while the smallest ones have a diameter of 3 meters. My question is: for such tanks, is it better to use a monolithic foundation or individual foundations for their construction? Also, is it necessary for a design institute to carry out the basic design? Can we design it ourselves? Are there any requirements for acceptance and approval? Thank you all.

These drawings must bear the official seal of the design institute, the design qualification number, as well as the signature of the registered architect; without these elements, a plain drawing will not be accepted. You can check the laws related to construction; there should be regulations regarding this. **Currently, the requirements for ensuring design quality and construction quality are much stricter.
