Difference between intrinsically safe signals and non-intrinsically safe signals

However, the intrinsically safe circuit is a holistic concept that requires the use of intrinsically safe instruments and equipment in all its components. In other words, when selecting equipment, it is required that all components such as field panels and safety barriers be intrinsically safe devices. The allocation modules do not need to be separated. Because DCS is not intrinsically safe. Do you think something that has a 220V power supply can still be intrinsically safe? The energy output by the DCS is limited to a galvanic-level signal only through the safety barrier.
Instruments are divided into intrinsically safe types and flameproof types; intrinsically safe types require a safety barrier, while flameproof types do not.
