What is the insulating material in the coke charging hopper for dry quenching of coke? It’s something located at the bottom of the hopper, a fabric-like material that prevents dust from escaping and is resistant to high temperatures. I originally thought it was silica fiber felt, but its thickness is only 3-5 mm. There are steel wires inside. It has been less than half a year since it was put into use, and it’s already largely damaged; new materials need to be ordered. If any expert is aware of this, please offer some guidance.
