Our ammonia-containing wastewater is supposed to be sent to the sewage treatment system, but the high level of ammonia nitrogen kills the bacteria used in sewage treatment. What should we do to deal with this? Isn’t it okay to emit directly while considering environmental protection?
The ammonia is stripped out using a stripping method; if the stripping gas consists solely of ammonia, it can be recovered, while if its ammonia content is low, it can be sent to a flare for combustion before being released.

Even after cooling, the ammonia content in the water remains at 3% or higher, and it still cannot be treated ; If it’s not cooled, there’s still a separation tank in front of the torch; the water from there is also sent to the wastewater system, so it still won’t work.
With an ammonia content of only 3%, it can be sent directly to the flare for combustion without the need for cooling. A small amount from the separator at the torch can be sent to wastewater treatment without any problems.
How could it take so long to realize that our E1409 has very poor heat exchange performance?
