Everyone: Once all the design drawings are completed, what aspects need to be taken into consideration during the drawing review? How should the review tasks be divided among the owner, the supervision unit, and the construction unit? I would appreciate it if you could share your opinions; I’m eager to learn from them. Once all the design drawings are completed, as the owner, the key points to pay attention to during the drawing review are: 1. Are all the process parameters correct? 2. Check whether all dimensions of the equipment foundation match, with particular attention to any inconsistencies. 3. Whether flanges and valves that facilitate purging during driving need to be added. 4. Whether the blind flanges isolated from the system are appropriate.
1. Are the parameters of the equipment foundation consistent between the civil engineering drawings and the equipment drawings?； 2. Does the process flow meet the technical requirements? Is there a more reasonable approach? ； 3. Is the equipment layout reasonable, and are there safety exits? ； 4. Whether the layout of process pipelines and utility pipelines is reasonable, etc
In accordance with Article 5.1.2 of the \"GB 50319-2013 Code for Supervision of Construction Projects\", supervision personnel shall be familiar with the project design documents, and shall attend the drawing review meetings and design briefing sessions organized by the project owner; the minutes of such meetings must be signed off by the chief supervision engineer. In accordance with Article 9.2.1 of the \"SH/T 3903-2004 Specifications for Project Supervision in Petrochemical Construction Projects\", project supervision personnel shall attend the design briefing meetings organized by the project owner. Before the design briefing, the chief supervision engineer shall organize the supervision staff to familiarize themselves with the design documents, and submit written opinions and suggestions regarding the issues present in the drawings to the design unit through the project owner. In accordance with Article 6.3.8 of the \"GB 50358-2005 Code for Management of General Contracting of Construction Projects\", prior to construction, the design team shall conduct a design briefing to explain the design intent, interpret the design documents, and clarify the design requirements. In accordance with Article 30 of the \"Decision of the State Council on Amending the Regulations on the Management of Survey and Design Work for Construction Projects\" (State Council Decree No. 662, dated June 12, 2015), the survey and design units for construction projects shall, prior to the commencement of construction, explain the intentions behind the survey and design work to the construction party and the supervision unit, and provide explanations regarding the survey and design documents. Engineering survey and design firms shall promptly resolve any survey or design-related issues that arise during construction.
