Dear fellow sea users, is all expandable polystyrene considered a hazardous chemical? According to the list of hazardous chemicals, expandable polystyrene beads (those containing flammable liquids) are classified under code 41057; is it necessary to conduct a risk assessment and obtain a safety production license from the safety supervision authorities in order to approve such products?
I heard from our teacher that it seems that now a minimum of 120,000 tons is required in order to get approval!
