Is there a reaction when alkali solution absorbs H2S?

When using NaOH solution to absorb hydrogen sulfide, is a neutralization reaction taking place? Can it be calculated directly using a distillation column module? There’s circulation of alkaline solution – could some expert please advise on how to calculate this? :D

This post was last edited by 55656937 on 2015-9-23 at 16:13. There must be some reaction; the absorption process can be simulated using a distillation column module, but since there is a reaction involved, reactive distillation should be used.
This is a typical absorption simulation using the Radfrac module. But it’s not the same as distillation
Radfrac is used to simulate absorption, but the reaction cannot be reflected
Use radfrac; just add chemistry inside it.
