As stated in the title, I would like to ask whether a storage tank with coils belongs to the category of jacketed multi-chamber containers?

Since the operating pressure inside the coil is greater than 0.1 MPa, while the storage tank is at atmospheric pressure, it does not fall under the category of multi-chamber pressure vessels. Is monitoring and inspection required for this equipment?

Containers with coils do not belong to the jacketed container category, and generally the diameter of the coils is less than 150 mm; even if their volume is greater than 0.025 m3, I believe they should not be classified as such. What you said isn’t very clear. According to the ‘Regulations on Fixed Equipment’, coiled tubes should be regarded as separate pressure equipment. However, per clause 1.4, coiled tubes are generally classified as Category I; they do not require supervision, inspection, or notification upon installation.
