During the construction of foundations for moving and stationary equipment, once the foundation concrete has been poured, is it permissible to apply a leveling layer with a thickness of 20–100 mm on the surface of the concrete foundation prior to equipment installation, in order to increase the elevation of the foundation? Please discuss and provide the basis!
100mm seems too much; I think we should first consider the issue of bearing strength. If the strength is insufficient, high-strength mortar or steel plates should be used to adjust the elevation

A leveling layer cannot be added to raise the elevation; shims can be used for adjustment! Final grouting.
Standard practice: Use shims for leveling, and carry out leveling and finishing work after the equipment has been installed!!!
The cast concrete has been vibrated to remove air bubbles, resulting in a high density per unit volume and greater strength. “The “applying a coating” method is not feasible; one issue is the strength problem ; Second, the strength after combination will be problematic. The height of the shims should be 30–70 mm, and the number of shim layers should not exceed 4. When the elevation is insufficient, it should be possible to pour another layer, but using cement mortar of a higher grade.
