The original catalytic device did not have a split-top butterfly valve, and was controlled by an electric valve installed at the cooler inlet. Later, it was changed to use butterfly valves, which are relatively simple and require only one valve, unlike electric valves, which must have one in front of each group of coolers.
It is too difficult to operate according to the method on the 3rd floor. When driving, several people have to guard the hand valve or electric valve of the air cooler at the top of the fractionation tower to adjust the opening at any time. I think it’s best to design it, otherwise it will be very troublesome in production in the future.
