May I ask everyone, what is an appropriate control value for the preheating rate when preheating new coking towers? If preheating takes 10 hours, how do you arrange those 10 hours?
The general principle is to avoid too high a speed; it’s possible to keep the speed low during the first few hours, and then increase it once the temperature exceeds 200 degrees. This way, not only is heat loss from the distillation tower minimized, but the desired temperature can also be achieved
10 hours of preheating time is more than enough. The preheating starts quickly, but it slows down once the temperature reaches between 260 and 290 degrees. At the same time, it’s necessary to coordinate the addition of oil properly
Does the mention of using oil upstairs refer to the oil usage in the old process (preheating in the middle)? There’s no oil pickup during preheating at the top of the new process!
