Please talk about your understanding of the idle speed of Elliott turbines

The reason for raising this question is that my understanding of idle speed isn’t very clear. Please ask someone who is familiar with turbines to explain it! 1. There is a switch for idle speed; when starting the machine, the switch must be in the position that allows the turbine to start, with the GV valve fully closed. 2. Once the turbine reaches its rated speed, the switch should be in the position corresponding to that rated speed, at which point the GV valve can be activated. There are a few questions! 1. What happens if, during startup, the speed controlled by the TT valve exceeds the set value of the Idle Speed? 2. When passing through the critical speed range, if the TT valve opens too quickly, could the turbine speed exceed the minimum adjustable speed, or even go higher? 3. In other words, besides the functions mentioned above, does the idle speed have any other roles, especially in terms of protecting against excessive rotation speeds? (The term \"over-speed\" mentioned here does not refer to a speed that exceeds the normal operating speed, but rather the speed corresponding to a certain point in time on the speed-up curve.)
