The testing pressures for safety valves are not necessarily exactly the same; as long as they fall within the specified range, it is considered acceptable. There is a fixed schedule for testing safety valves; therefore, it is not necessary to check them every time they are overhauled. In some cases, the safety valves may also be tested during the normal operation of the system.
Generally, safety valves are inspected once a year, and the calibration pressure remains the same as that set at the time of the factory’s construction, unless there are significant changes in operating conditions.
No need; we conduct regular inspections. An inspection is only required if a safety valve fails to function properly!

According to the regulations regarding the management of pressure vessels and safety accessories, safety valves are required to be calibrated annually. But not all factories can meet the requirements. So, generally, inspections are carried out in accordance with the maintenance schedule. Moreover, depending on the scope and depth of the maintenance work, even if operations are halted, it is not guaranteed that the safety valves can be delivered. So, it’s still best to work well with the local authorities-----the Technical Supervision Bureau. When relationships are good, things become easier to handle. If the safety valve poses a risk to safety, then you have no choice but to stop the machine and address the issue.
