Issues related to the burial of gas pipelines

Aside from the requirements specified in the codes for urban gas pipelines, are there any other requirements for buried gas pipelines? Are there requirements regarding the use of compensators or distribution pipes? How should buried pipelines be installed? Mine are buried directly underground. I hope someone can provide an answer. As a supplementary note, the gas in my case comes directly from the gas field; what standards would be most suitable in this situation?
