Are there any friends who work in design institutes and are taking the Safety Engineer certification exam?

My safety certification has been valid for two years now, and I need to undergo retraining next month; it is said to be the last chance this year. I registered with a safety assessment company two years ago, and I haven’t received a single penny in compensation. This year, I was told that I would have to cover the costs of further training myself, which made me very angry. I work at a design institute; my supervisor has said that I should register there, and the costs will be covered by the institute. But I really don’t understand; having this certificate in the hospital doesn’t help at all; it’s merely a source of comfort for me. I’m conflicted; I want to give up this certificate, but then I think about how difficult the exam was back then and feel it would be a shame to do so. Sea friends, do you have any good suggestions? There are too many people obtaining safety engineer certificates these days; working for a safety assessment company basically doesn’t generate any income, it merely helps to enhance one’s qualifications. They even think that letting you use their affiliation is a favor to you. ^_^ After the implementation of the Regulations on Registered Safety Engineers, there was a shortage of such engineers. Take part in continuing education; it will be useful eventually.
Thank you to the person above :) I’m mainly worried about a few things: 1. Will this registration certificate affect my ability to register for other certificates in the future? It seems that it’s not allowed for multiple certificates to be registered at different entities. 2. If the above is true, then I can only register at my current design institute. Since the certificates I will obtain in the future are related to my field of study, I can only register at this institution. 3. It’s useless for a design institute to have safety management qualifications. I don’t think there’s any precedent for this; could registration still be an issue even if I re-educate myself? 4. Since there is no income from safety management work, I not only have to pay retraining costs of over 2,000 yuan every two years (for conference fees, travel expenses, etc.), but also spend about a week on it. So there is no enthusiasm. Frustrated!

You’re right; I feel like I’m relying on them, as if they’re taking care of me, and it’s uncomfortable!
