There is a coil condenser in which scale forms frequently; this is likely due to the large number of coil turns, as well as the high temperature of the material being cooled, around 150 degrees. The coil operates 24 hours a day. It’s possible that the water pressure is not sufficient or the flow rate is too low. Could we add a pipeline pump to increase both the water pressure and flow rate, thereby reducing the temperature of the water exiting the outlet and preventing scale formation? Thank you!
It mainly depends on the extent of scaling; if the scaling is not severe, installing a pump can help reduce the outlet temperature and prevent further deterioration of the scaling.
Adding a pump won’t solve the problem in the end; it’s better to use descaling agents, which are available on the market! If you don’t want to use it, you’ll have to wash it every once in a while!
Clean the cooler coils, add bactericidal and scale-inhibiting agents to the cooling water, and maintain a certain flow rate for circulation.
It seems pretty serious; it got blocked in about 2 months
It seems that only cooling with softened water is an option.
It is still advisable to consider adding scale inhibitors, as this improves heat transfer efficiency and is overall more economical
Use some distilled water, softened water, or scale remover; phosphates are used for mineral processing
I’m not sure if your factory has steam condensate; collecting this water for cooling can **reduce costs, that is, by using soft water for cooling
Was the water pipeline network where the water cooler is located not pre-coated before use?
