Generally, is it the instrumentation team responsible for the process package who provides the statistics on the number and types of I/O points in a DCS, or is it the instrumentation team at the design institute?
It should be compiled and proposed by the instrumentation department of the design institute, following communication with the process package team. Reflections on personal work experience.
It should have been proposed by the instrumentation team in the design institute based on the process requirements; only those who are responsible for the design know which points are needed. Of course, they are aware of the I/O points as well
The final PID of the design institute is refined based on the process package, and the final number of IO points should be determined according to the final statistics provided by the design institute.
The final document is definitely prepared by the design institute, but for the process package, it is still necessary to have communication and confirmation between the design institute and the party responsible for the instrumentation and process package
It should be provided by the instrumentation department of the design institute; other departments are not familiar with the types of instrumentation points.
