I recommend using a 26G radar level gauge, which will yield better results, installed at the 1/2R position.

For old tanks, it is recommended to use a single flange; the weight of the floating disk can be transferred away, and special attention should be paid to the location of the liquid level openings. Reason: Just one hole is needed, which makes construction and installation easier. 2. For new tanks, it is recommended to use guided wave radar; the guided wave tube should be installed during tank construction, running through the floating platform all the way to the top, with 80 holes typically provided. Reason: It offers higher precision than single-flange types, making future maintenance easier; moreover, guided wave radar is now available at a lower price. Recommendation: ROSEMENT offers process guided wave radar; the model is presumably from the 5500 series, with a price of around 15,000 to 20,000.
