Is there a relationship between the oil pressure at the inlet of the main fan bearing and the blockage of the breather port?

For the newly installed main fan, the oil pressure is on the high side; if it’s low, the oil temperature rises. It was later found that the felt at the breathing port is too thick – could this be related to it?
Personally, I think it shouldn’t be a problem; the breathing port is meant for exhaust, so how could it affect the temperature?
