Can high-pressure motors be used for the fire pumps in the fire pump station of chemical plant design? There is a project that uses high-pressure motors. The fire department says that no one in the country uses high-pressure motors in fire pumps, and as a result, such projects are not approved for fire safety inspections. They also claim that the motors (those purchased from pump manufacturers) have not passed the fire safety assessments. Is this statement correct?
