I heard that the biggest difficulty in applying to be an engineer is the English language; I’m not sure if this is true or not What are the requirements for engineers regarding English? The English here probably refers to professional English, right?
For professional title English, if you are applying for a professional title in an enterprise, you no longer need to take the exam these days； If it’s an institution of some kind, then one also has to take the English test for professional titles. I work in such an institution, and in order to get promoted to a senior engineer position, I just passed the English test for professional titles this year
To pass the **Professional English Test for Level B (with a score threshold of 60 points)**, the minimum score required varies from province to province. Those who meet the provincial threshold but do not reach 60 points can use such a score only in the year the exam is taken.
