Comparison of currents in multi-stage submersible pumps: is the current higher when the motor rotates in the forward direction or in the reverse direction? Is the current higher when the outlet is closed or when it is fully open? Why?
It should be the same, but since there is a water hammer load during forward rotation, the current in forward direction is slightly higher
Of course, with the valve fully open, the load is greater and the current is higher. With the valve opening remaining constant, the load is greater and the current is higher during forward rotation.
