Are sulfur recovery rate and sulfur conversion rate the same thing? How is the conversion rate calculated? Please, Haiyou, explain to me in detail the method of calculation!

The sulfur recovery rate is calculated based on the components of the exhaust gas; sometimes, a rough estimate is obtained by dividing the sulfur yield by the potential sulfur content in the feed gas. When calculated based on exhaust components, the nitrogen balance method is commonly used. The formula is as follows: η= 1-78.09R/(CH2S*C'N2)*(C'H2S+C'SO2+2C'CS2+C'COS+7.5*0.01*G')]*100% Where: η —— sulfur recovery rate in %, expressed to two decimal places. R – Total air/total acid gas (flow ratio, on a dry basis/dry basis)
CH2S – Percentage content of H2S in the acid gas % (V), (on a dry basis)
C’N2, C’H2S, C’SO2, C’CS2, C’COS – Percentage contents of the respective components in the exhaust gas, (on a dry basis)
G’ – Content of elemental sulfur in the exhaust gas, g/m3, (at 20°C, 101.325 kPa)
The calculation method for R is as follows:
R = QK * (1-HK) / QS * (1-HS)
Where:
QK – Air flow rate, m3/h, (on a wet basis)
QS – Acid gas flow rate, m3/h, (on a wet basis)
HK – Water content in the air, in terms of mole fraction
HS – Water content in the acid gas, in terms of mole fraction; HS = PW / (P + PO)
Where:
PW – Vapor pressure of water in the acid gas at the temperature of the acid gas separator, in kPa
P – Pressure in the acid gas separator, in kPa(g)
PO – Atmospheric pressure, in kPa
HK = Pd * Φ / PO; Φ = Pd / P
Where:
Φ – Relative humidity of the air, in terms of mole fraction
td, tw – Dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures of the air, in °C
Pd, Pw – Saturated vapor pressures of water at the dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures of the air, in kPa

Here is the definition. 【Sulfur recovery rate】 refers to the proportion of sulfur actually obtained, based on the sulfur content in hydrogen sulfide present in the acid gas ; 【Conversion rate】refers to the proportion of sulfur in hydrogen sulfide that is converted into elemental sulfur.
