Some levels of urea are measured using double flanges, but insulation is very important as urine often crystallizes. What are some good insulation materials that can be used in this context? Is there such a thing as a jacketed insulation?

I disagree with what was said above. Crystallization is primarily a concern related to the medium in question. Double-flange diaphragms are usually insulated together with the equipment, as for heat tracing, it depends on the crystallization temperature of the medium.

An insert-type double flange will do; use PAD-type flanges on the equipment. The ones we used before didn’t have insulation.
We used a jacketed insulation system, which is much more effective than using surrounding pipes for insulation
The most important thing is the steam coil, followed by an insulation layer!

The location for insulation is at the root valve. Use steam for heating to maintain a high temperature; then wrap insulating cotton around it and cover it with a box – that should work fine.
