There is noise in the flash tower

There is a lot of noise inside the flash tower of our atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit – it makes a clanging sound. I’m not sure what the cause is
Is there a problem with the feed distributor? Is the gas velocity too high? The feed inlet of the flash tower is located at a high position; if the distributor does not function properly, it can easily cause the aforementioned noises.
The feed inlet is at a slightly higher height than the liquid level control surface, caused by material splashing. Based on your situation, vertical feeding should be the appropriate option; tangent feeding would be better.
