During the crystallization flash process, with constant vacuum level and steam injection pressure, what impact does the size of the flash space have on the flash temperature?
If there isn’t enough space, the mother liquor will be carried away by the gas; other effects are minimal.
Logically speaking, there shouldn’t be any significant impact. However, if the space is too small, as mentioned earlier, it will cause the mother liquor to be carried upward; the presence of liquid will increase resistance, affecting the performance of the steam jet pump and having a certain effect on the vacuum level. Therefore, it’s best to keep the liquid level at 50-60%.
