The requirements for the cooling tower are: inlet water temperature of 37 degrees, outlet water temperature of 32 degrees, and a flow rate of 50 tons. The equipment is to be installed in Nanjing – is there a suitable tower available? Additionally, what are the measures to prevent freezing in cooling towers? Using a counterflow tower works well for preventing freezing in winter; as long as the circulation pump runs every day, the tower will not freeze
The anti-freezing measure for Malley cooling towers is to install an ice-melting pipe at the cooling water inlet; this pipe allows some hot water to create a water curtain at the air intake, thereby heating the incoming air and raising the temperature inside the tower, thus completely eliminating the problem of freezing in cooling towers during winter.
