After using Aspen to perform regression on the data, how should one choose or proceed during simulation in order to use the data from that regression? Thank you!
Just select FLOWSHEET to use the regression data
After selecting FLOWSHEET, is it still necessary to modify some parameters in Properties > Parameters > Binary Interaction? Haven’t many parameters already been regressed?
Reply to 3# limn168: These are all the default settings of ASPEN; some of them have already had data regression applied, so no further modifications are needed
Reply to 4# peaceful112233: So I just need to simulate it right after returning, thanks!
Reply to 5# limn168, OP: Could you explain it in more detail? I’ve been thinking about this issue lately as well. Do you mean that it can be used right away after returning? For example, in a ternary system, there should be three pairs of binary interaction parameters, but the database may contain only one pair; the remaining ones need to be determined through regression using experimental data. Don’t the binary interaction parameters obtained from regression need to be entered in the tabs you listed above? Can that tab be written to?
There is no need to perform any writing; simply save the template and then open it to carry out the flowseet simulation
Reply to 7# 379408519: I don’t understand what you mean. Is flowsee also needed for phase equilibrium? What can be simulated using flowsee regarding phase equilibrium?
I don’t quite understand either, hehe. Save as template?
Some expert please explain it, hehe. Let me explain something regarding the data regression parameters……
After the regression, click retrieve in Tools
